Thank You, from Holiday Gifts for Seniors…

Gratitude, Times a Thousand…

A huge shout-out to all the quilters, knitters, crocheters, sewers, crafty friends, early shoppers, and everyone who shared their time, talent, and treasure.

Every single donation mattered, and every one of them made a real difference in someone’s life.

Read the Thank You from Amberwood Post Acute Care

And a Big, BIG, REALLY BIG THANK YOU to the amazing groups who stepped up and made this possible—and the many individuals and families—far too many to list—who donated and volunteered:

  • Hands All Around
  • The Festive Gals
  • Energy Outreach Colorado
  • Dinners Without Borders
  • Rock Canyon High School Freshman Girls Volleyball
  • Eagle Ridge Elementary School

Because of you, HUNDREDS of people felt remembered, valued, and cared for.

That’s the power of kindness.

Big, BIG, REALLY BIG thanks to the Highlands Ranch Library for your incredible support and help during each of our donation collection days!

Your generosity is proof that kindness changes lives.

Holiday Gifts for Seniors

Each Holiday season At the Table Colorado has provided gifts, cheer cards, or a Holiday meal to a nursing home in the metro area. It is a beloved tradition that we look forward to each year. This year we are working to provide warmth and cheer to almost 400 seniors in the metro area that live in four different facilities.

Our goal is a lap blanket or warm hat or scarf with a cheer card for each of the seniors. Please help us reach the goal by donating items from the Wish List below or making a
tax-deductible donation here.

Wednesday, May 14th
Castle Rock Library
5:30 – 7:30PM

Topic: What Do You Think is the Most Important Issue Today?

Common Threads is as much about the conversation as it is about the handiwork you bring. Everyone has the opportunity to share what they feel is the most important topic of the day, while we work.

Common Threads is about bringing people together to share our needlework (knitting, crocheting, sewing, you choose) as well as conversation, to get to know others from our community.  It is as much about the conversation as the needlework.

Just as we will have a variety of knitting and crocheting techniques to discover, we hope to have diverse viewpoints on topics of the day to share with our new friends and neighbors!

Common Threads is NOT a political or religious discussion or a debate, it is an opportunity for neighbors to come together to listen and learn from each other while enjoying what we have in common, like our needlework.

ALL are welcome!!!

However, space is limited so reservations are required.
